Craft Time with Cotton Swabs and Cotton Balls

I enjoy finding things around the house to help with my child’s creativity. I gave my child a challenge and had them make a picture using cotton swabs and cotton balls. Below is the picture he made- a bear! It looked great, and he had fun creating it. Using cotton swabs and cotton balls, ask your kids to create a picture or you choose a picture for them to create and see what their creativity brings. For an extra challenge, give them paper plates along with the cotton swabs and cotton balls and ask them to create a building. Want to make your creations with color and glue them? No problem! You can easily dye cotton balls using water and food coloring together and let the cotton balls absorb the water and dye in the bowl (you can also do this with the cotton swabs). Have their pictures glow in the dark by using glow in the dark glue. I like this glow in the dark glue which you can get here. Please note, because of small objects that are used, this activity is best for kids ages 4 and up who will not put items in their mouths.
